2012-13 Season              6-15

The Leavenworth Pioneers enter the 2013-14 season competing in the Kansas 5A classification.  The Pioneers are a member of the Sunflower League and will also compete in the Leavenworth Citizens National Bank Tournament  in December and in the Dodge City KS Tournament of Champions in January.

Seven seniors will lead the Blue and White this season . 

 The senior class includes Cameron Wiggins, Jason Randall, Grant Lang, Bret Parr, Sean Ellis, Collin Anderson, and  Tyriek Ford


The Pioneers have concluded the 2013 part of their season with a 3-1 record.  Leavenworth opened their season hosting the 19th Annual Citizens Bank Tournament.

In the first round Leavenworth defeated North Kansas City High School and then advanced to the Championship game with a semi-final victory over defending tournament champion KC Washington.  Despite a 33 point performance from Cameron Wiggins, the Pioneers  dropped an 11 point decision to Raytown South.


The Pioneers then traveled to Bishop Miege High school on Friday Dec 20th where they closed out December with  a 60-31 road victory over the Stags.


The next Leavenworth home games will be Saturday Jan. 4th vs Wichita Word of Life.  Note that the start times will be early with the JV game at 1pm and the varsity game at 5pm.  Following that game the Pioneers will also play at home on Tuesday January 7 vs long time rival Lawrence High School, currently ranked number 6 in Kansas 6A.
